Cable Ski Marbella is set on a huge natural lake in Guadalmina offering the latest in waterskiing adventures. Whether you are an expert or a novice, fully trained experts will help you better your style and brush up your skills. Its an incredible great day out and their chilled out restaurant serves fantastic tapas with a terrace overlooking the lake so you can simply sit back and enjoy watching other people before it’s your turn.
The centre promotes family activities so along with the restaurant and the lake, they have a beautiful swimming pool which also overlooks the water sports and is perfect for smaller children who are not old enough to ski but who enjoy watching the older kids waterskiing.
Cable Ski offers some amazing group deals so this is not only about families and children, they often hold corporate fun days out and can easily accommodate group bookings however, we do advise you contact them and book in advance as they are extremely popular in the summer.
The cable system pulls skiers around the lake. Each trip around the lake lasts about one minute but the cable can be set at a speed to suit your ability. Slow for children and beginners and faster for the expert skier.
You can kneeboard, wakeboard, or waterski.
With regards to opening times, Cable Ski likes to make the most of the evenings and therefore adapt the opening hours to cater for maximum skiing time so again, we recommend calling them and checking.
Just got back from spain.. have to give props to the guys out there. It is a stone age cable, i.e. everything is done with levers and pulleys not motorised like here, but it is a smooth cable… first raley off the dock was humungous and lovely floaty feeling ![]()
The guys who work there are cool too, pedro and raul are good lads, and the dude at the bar is a total ledge.
Anyone who is looking for maybe a weekend out there, give me an email, my dad is looking for short-term lets i.e. couple of days, a week, anything up to a month i think.. You’ll need a car or scooter, but the cable is literally 10mins away when you know the way, and puerto banus is full of hot chicks now… walked up the strip and was like damn! your 18? no way. haha I felt like such a dirty old man.
There is a cafe bar, restaurant, sun loungers, swimming pool and ski shop. A great place to have a day out.
